The Best Gate Latch

07 May

This is the best gate latch I have come across. It is so simple, but works like a charm!

I have tried the old ways of doing it, like most of you out there. I’ve done the string pull, weed eater line pull, cable pull, and even small chain. None of these work as

well as this gate latch does. It is easy to open, and latches every time you push the gate closed behind you. It works great if you have small kids or a dog too, because you never need to see if the gate really did latch. If you add a self closing mechanism to the gate, you would never have to worry about it closing correctly.

As you can tell I highly recommend buying one today!! I found mine at Emigh Hardware, but you can also find them here:

Here is a video on his website describing the product:

If you go to the website for the Gate Latch Cable you will find more pictures & how to Instructional videos. You can also purchase them directly if you don’t live in Sacramento, CA.

Here are some pictures of the gate I installed one onto. This homeowner had struggled for years with opening this gate. After installing this latch, she has no more problems.

This product is also Made in the USA!

Cool product. I have had issues in the past which hit directly on your products benefit. For a variety of reasons the consistency of the operations of the latch just was not good. The result was dogs and kids on the loose…….. not good! Thanks! Dave

I have gone through 3 of these. On every one, the cable comes loose at 5he point that it is attached to the clip. Dont waste your time unless the company can design this to withstand the pull of the average consumer.

I have not had these problems. Have you notified the company of the defect problems you have had? Have they sent a free replacement? Or, have they addressed the problem and sent a new design?
