China Hutch
This was a project I worked on with my sister Monica at Craftynest. She was working on a makeover project for her place; I helped her make some of the changes. This is one of the projects I built for her.

My dad came to me with this project; I guess you could say I went a little “Tim Allen” on the idea. He was worried about his well head cover being plowed over by his snow plow guy when the snow piles up.

This was a fun but challenging project. The homeowner wanted to build a tall pergola outside his back door. It was a full 16ft to the bottom of the first cross beam.
The homeowner first had some concrete squares poured with the mounting brackets installed for the upright posts. Before starting this project all the beams and posts were primed with primer.

The diamond pattern I placed in the middle.

This is a house I helped to flip.
The Living Room, Dining Room, and Hallway had carpeting covering the original hardwood flooring. Carpeting was removed, hardwood floors refinished. The existing Mantle around the fireplace wasn’t very functional, so I installed a new one. Custom fit mantle for the homeowners needs.

This was part of the House Flip I posted about.
I removed the old wood paneling, mantle, and shelving. It looked terrible, and outdated, and didn’t utilize the space very well. It also had fake gas logs in the fireplace, with a worn out brass screen. I had to move the electrical & cable to the new locations, patch the open drywall areas, texture the walls to match exiting, painted the walls, and installed baseboards.
