Toilet Seat with Potty Trainer

01 Jun

This is more of a FYI posting about this toilet seat I saw, and thought it was a great idea. Since I have a lot of friends that are going through the potty training process this summer with their kids, I thought this might help them.

This toilet seat is made by Bemis and I found it at the Home Depot. What I like about it is all the features it has.

1.  It has a built in potty seat for the “smaller bums” that is magnetized to the top lid. So when you lift the lid for an adult the smaller seat comes up at the same time as the outer lid. Then you separate the magnetic connection and you can use the smaller seat.

2. The seat also has the Whisper Close, or as it is better known as the No Slam technology. If you ever get tired of hearing the toilet seat slamming down this is the way to get away from that annoyance.  You can try and slam the lid down but you can’t, the three sections just slowly close down on there own. Many of the high end toilets had this technology first, but it is now found in standard toilet seats too.

3.  Another added feature is the Quick Release Knobs where it attaches to the porcelain toilet. The screws themselves never loosen, so no more loose seat that moves around. The quick release knobs lock and unlock from the screw mounts so you can remove it and clean around the seat on the toilet, or just to clean the seat itself.

Best of all, no more cleaning of that potty chair!

They come in circular to fit circle toilet bowls, or in elongated to fit the elongated toilet bowls.

I like you have a number of friends who are in the middle of this process. What a great product. Wish it were around when I needed it. Thanks for the heads up and review. I will most certainly be passing this news on to others, thanks again. Dave
